    What is Hot Foil Printing?

    Also known as hot foil stamping, hot foil blocking or gold leaf print, it is a process using coloured foils instead of inks and can be applied to numerous flat surfaces, including card, paper, leather, PVC and plastic. The reflective quality of the foil produces stunning effects resulting in a prestigious end product. The process can also be used to produce an effect similar to spot UV varnishing, by providing a gloss varnish to specific areas of a printed item to enhance its appearance.
